Curtis Mission to Malta

Malta Week 38 - Another beautiful hike, another trip to Rome and another Baptism!!! Monday Night English Class I decided to try acupuncture for my arthritic hip.  The Chinese Clinic I went to had these beautiful Chinese Gardens.  This took us back to our China days! Tuesday Night Institute Words cannot describe the beauty of this island!  We took another hike with Torch and Gloria this week.  This one was to Il Mistra Bay with a close up view of St Paul's Island. We have our baptisms at St Paul's Bay.  This is looking at the baptism location from across the bay.  If you look at the ramp in this picture, that is where we walk down to the baptismal sight.  See a closeup view in the picture below. This is the island we see when we do our baptisms.  From this area, we were able to get a lot closer to St Paul's Island and the monument erected in his honor.  Our  goal is to step foot on this island before we leave Malta. Malta Week 37 - Hiking Migra Il Ferha, YSA Temple Trip & the Baptism of David  Ngareba English Class Monday Night - We were so sad to hear that David (back row center) has to go back to Columbia.  A lot of our students come here with a tourist visa and if they don't get a job within 3 months they are sent back to their native country. David tried to get a job, but since it's winter here, tourist season is low, and there are very few jobs available!  We will miss him. Institute on Tuesday night On Wednesday morning we hiked Migra Il Ferha Malta  with Torch, Gloria and Jackie.      This is a closeup of the picture above.  If you look closely, you'll see this man in that picture.  He was fishing on the edge of the cliff from 200 feet above the water.
