So Long, Farewell! Saying Goodbye!

Image
Saying good-bye is never easy, but what a wonderful weekend we had with our family on the weekend of our farewell talks.  Four of our six kids came to spend the weekend with us.  We ate BBQ, played games and enjoyed being together! Pictured:  All of the family who were able to attend the farewell talks in person!  Others watched by zoom from New Mexico, Florida and Mexico! Kassidy, Kaydence, and Kyndall sang a musical number, "If I Could Hie to Kolob/Come Thou Font" with Ryder at the piano. It was also Mother's Day. It was a double blessing for us to celebrate Mother's Day with so many of our kids and grandkids! It was hard to say Goodbye, but after everyone left on Monday, Brenda Smith hosted an Empty Nester Farewell Party.  It's times like this that I realize what wonderful friends we have.  Thank you Brenda for hosting a wonderful farewell party.   Unfortunately, Steve came down with a terrible virus and wasn't able to attend.
